What it covers
This unit supports you to realise and critically evaluate a self-directed research project within art history or curating. Building on the project proposal, research and planning undertaken in Capstone: Project studies 1, you will refine and complete an independent project in your focused research area. Your project may take a range of forms, including an exhibition, publication, website, podcast, event or other practice-led outcome. Through sustained independent work, directed reading, group discussion and regular meetings with staff, you will extend the theoretical, methodological and practical dimensions of your project. The unit emphasises the realisation of a self-directed project, critical reflection, audience engagement, professional decision-making, and the justification of your completed work within relevant historical, theoretical and professional contexts.
