What it covers
This unit introduces the fundamental concepts of mechanical engineering design, including CAD modelling of parts and assemblies that embody design intent, technical sketching and engineering drawing, dimensional tolerancing and measurement for quality assurance, mechanical design principles, standard machine components, and common technician tools.
