What it covers
This project-based unit enables students to research, design, and develop innovative ICT solutions addressing real-world industry challenges. Projects focus on computing technologies and align with the student’s ICT and cyber security major. Students work individually or in teams, depending on project scope, to plan, analyse, and implement solutions that demonstrate technical expertise, ethical responsibility, and effective communication. As the first stage of a year-long capstone project, this unit emphasises research and development activities. Each project team is supported by an academic facilitator who provides guidance on project management, research integrity, and professional practice in ICT and cyber security contexts.
