You will study a broad range of topics including cellular pathology and inflammation, immunopathology and infectious disease, neoplasia, blood disorders, haemodynamic disorders, obesity and diabetes. Through the study of these specific diseases, you will develop a broad appreciation of pathological processes that lead to the onset and outcomes of human disease. This unit will give you a strong knowledge base in human pathology before moving on to study diseases in organ systems, outlined in HUP3022.
