What it covers
This unit brings theory and practice together to support you in an exploration of pedagogical practices associated with the provision of sport and movement education. You will learn about, experience and critique a range of pedagogical approaches such as Cooperative Learning, and Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility. You will also have the opportunity to plan, deliver and evaluate a sequence of lessons utilising Siedentop’s Sport Education model. You will be supported to differentiate your planning and teaching to support learners across a spectrum of abilities, and consider how to provide meaningful feedback and assessment to support learning.
