What it covers
This unit explores and develops a range of pedagogical practices across the creative arts methods of The Arts curriculum: Dance, Drama, Music, Media Arts and Visual Arts. You will be supported to develop confidence and competence to teach the four interrelated strands of The Arts (F-6) curriculum: Exploring, Developing Practices, Creating and Presenting, in primary classrooms. The unit has an experiential and group-based learning focus, underpinned by a scholarly approach to evidence-based practice and reflective analysis of both teaching and philosophical ideas in Arts education.
