What it covers
This unit encourages you to explore how digital technologies may be used to contribute to teaching and learning. It provides opportunities for you to develop knowledge and skills relevant to the appropriate selection and use of digital technologies for teaching and learning. You are made aware of some contemporary issues and debates regarding digital technologies, such as equity of access and digital citizenship. Importantly, you are encouraged to carefully consider the integration of digital technologies into your teaching. While the unit requires you to learn how to use digital technologies, it has been designed to maximise learning for all students, regardless of your familiarity with digital technologies.
