What it covers
Advanced manufacturing techniques and circularity in fashion are essential components to supporting a strong and sustainable fashion industry. This unit will identify the principles and practices of environmentally sustainable fashion design. It will cover research into socially responsible design, sustainable textiles, fast fashion and ethical manufacturing behaviours. Students will apply sustainable design parameters to the application of creative fashion design outcomes.
