What it covers
You will immerse yourself in the practice of international trade and cross‑border sales through simulations, site visits and structured debriefs that link global trade rules to what firms actually do. You will focus on trade relationships between Australia and a selected country or region, and see how international rules, agreements, standards and informal norms shape trade between these economies. In real business settings, you will explore how these rules interact with commercial goals, brand and reputation, relationships, and bigger questions about ethics and sustainability. By the end of the unit, you will be able to connect the rulebook to business strategy and real‑world constraints, and explain how the way rules are designed and used influences how global business is done.
