What it covers
In this unit you will examine contemporary creative writing in the context of local and global literary cultures, and in public and private life. "The Writer's World" is an advanced subject where you will extend your writing, collaborative, editorial and production skills. A focus of this subject is how you will take your creative writing skills out of the university and into the world, whether it’s in the public domain or in private life. In this subject, you will investigate the writer’s various functions in society as local and global citizens, including the writer as activist, archivist, witness and the writer as world builder.
