Overview
In this course you will study fine art as part of a double degree with information technology and be part of the changing way we communicate and experience culture in the digital domain.
Use your information technology skills to push the boundaries of what is possible in artistic practice. From innovative design tools to digital artistic expression, you have the opportunity to take advantage of the growing intersection of IT and art.
A thorough understanding of the theory, tools and techniques of information technology combines well with fine art. Use your creative talents to shape the future of games and immersive media, or use the theories and technical aspects of information technology to broaden your impact in fine art.

Rules for completing this course
You must complete 192 credit points, of which 96 credit points are from the Bachelor of Fine Art (including all of the requirements in Parts A, B, C and D for the single degree) and 96 credit points from the Bachelor of Information Technology (including all of the requirements in Parts A and B for the single degree).

Information Technology component
96 cpYou must complete 96 credit points, including all of the requirements in Parts A and B. If a unit is used for both IT specified study below and a major, you need to complete additional units offered by the Faculty of Information Technology to ensure a total of at least 96 credit points of Information Technology study (any unit starting with code FIT). No more than 36 credit points can be completed at Level 1.
